Theme: “Milestones on the Journey:
Be Not Afraid”

TUESDAYS AT COLLEGE INNE ON CARROLLTON
THURSDAYS AT FOX AND HOUND ON CLEARVIEW (ELMWOOD)

Tuesday, September 20: “When You Come to a Fork in the Road, Take It!”

The journey for us in our 20’s and 30’s abounds in “forks in the road.” There are more than a few times when the choices that we make during these years will affect us for the rest of our lives. Come join us for some practical and effective ways to choose the road that will lead to genuine fulfillment.

Thursday, September 22: “Road Trip: What Drives Us Away and Back into the Church”

The journey for us in our 20’s and 30’s is taken up with a growing quest for a relationship with Christ and the Church in a more “adult” way. No longer do we attend Mass because our parents ask us to; we make the choice to attend. Our faith becomes our own. Come join us for some enlightening insight to help us focus on enthusiastically participating in Church life, rather than merely sitting on the sidelines.

Tuesday, September 27: “Understanding Funky Catholic Stuff”

The journey for us in our 20’s and 30’s is bursting with perpetual questions about why we Catholics do what we do. Our rich Catholic tradition is filled with wonderful symbols, signs, and statuary. Come join us for simple explanations about things we have wondered about for a long time.

Thursday, September 29: “Men! Women! Can’t Live With/Without Them: The Quest for Relationships”

The journey for us in our 20’s and 30’s overflows with a quest to be in relationship. It is often a time to search for a life partner. Come join us as we discuss the Catholic context of what finding that partner means.

Tuesday, October 4: “Give Me My Office Space! Maintaining A Sense of Peace and Balance in Everyday Life and Work”

The journey for us in our 20’s and 30’s is one of constant motion and transition. We work or go to school, and oftentimes do both. Come join us as we hear useful ways to maintain an inner stability in the midst of a changing, frantic world.

Thursday, October 6: “Rags to Riches: Finding Spirituality in a Material World”

The journey for us in our 20’s and 30’s is a search for true and intentional living. When the rest of the world puts pressures on us to achieve and be “successful”, we must remain true to who we really are and are called to be, in service to others. Come join us for simple ways that reveal the importance of developing a spiritual side in the midst of living in a material world.

Tuesday, October 11: “Sex in the City: Making Sense of Love, Lust, and God”

The journey for us in our 20’s and 30’s leads us through an inner condition exposing a clash between strong desires, both helpful and harmful. All are part of the human condition. Come join us as we gain perspective on the powerful questions of love, lust, and God.

Thursday, October 13: “Is That Your Final Answer? Practical Ways to Make Monumental Decisions”

The journey for us in our 20’s and 30’s brings us to a point of major life decisions. These are the years where decisions are made that have huge influences on our future. Come join us as we learn to discern.
