Saturday, April 21, 2018, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PMThe basic seminar prepares lay persons to serve in their parish Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion through review of a basic theology of ministry, a basic theology of the Eucharist, practical implications for ministry. Theology and implications of ministry to the sick and homebound is also covered.
Attendance at this workshop is required before a person can be delegated by the Archbishop to serve as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. Please check the Archdiocesan Guidelines for Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion to ensure that participants fulfill the requirements.
All participants must be pre-approved by their pastors.
